25 days

So as of last night I had $3,230!!!! Praise God for He is so good.

And then this morning I woke to find that my trip was totally funded! Holy Crap. I mean I literally was wandering around my living room in circles in awe of how faithful God's people are! I love you guys!

...If you read this and still haven't donated but still want to ... no worries please feel free to still send in funds. It will go to others who are going or be put into Brackenhurst ministries to support all that they do outside of summer camp! Throughout the year they have small groups, Bible studies, support groups.. everything!

Thank you... There's no way I could ever express how deeply grateful I am for your support and your friendship!

I hope God is working on your heart. That He is showing you something new. Maybe a passion that was buried or unknown until now. Perhaps a fire to start something in the community. A weekly service project. Or maybe your youth ministry or college ministry where you are located is calling you to be a part of their program or support their kids who are going on missions.

Today is a great day! Getting pumped... I really can't believe it's less than a month till I get on that plane! how crazy! I'm ready for God to kick me in the gut and knock me over...which sounds strange but I know happen. I know God is going to show me things about myself that are new and things about myself that I most definitely need to change. But I know I need to hear those things.

Praise God for you... and all the wonderful opportunities He creates!

26 days...

26 days until I leave for Kenya

Let's see...I'm feeling: excited, nervous, anxious, scared, hopeful, unorganized, and unprepared

So far, I have received $2,780..thank you thank you thank you! I cannot put into words how grateful I am and in no way can I begin to tell you how greatly you have impacted the Kingdom! You will touch the lives of so many children and families!

My 3 big things came in the other day:
1. Gregory backpack
2. Sleeping bag and pad
3. Raincoat

Wooohoooo!

I'm nervous about being gone for such a long period of time. I have been overseas before (Mozambique and Russia) but never for that long and never without people i know.

I feel more excited the closer it gets. Like I'm really going. That God has really called me to go on this amazing adventure.

I know the funds will come in, because I know that God moves in His people and creates giving hearts.

Prayer Requests:
1. the kids at camp, that they would have open hearts and be getting excited about this summer.
2. the camp staff, that we would have patience, love and readiness to answer questions.
3. funds for all the other camp staff who are raising money.
4. That our hearts would feel prepared and be totally and completely ready for this great battlefield.
5. the hearts of those who learn about this camp or see other missionaries going. That hearts would be set on fire for reaching the world and stepping outside of comfort zones.

Praise God for He is SO good...
